How times have changed! This year, we had the pleasure of spending New Year's Eve with the Mosiers and these two darling little ladies. Who needs sequins when you have footie pajamas?!
Adam cooked us an Italian dinner, and then we let the girls run free in our play area downstairs. At this stage, they are starting to engage in the same activity at the same time, even if they are not exactly "playing together."
It was a much earlier night than NYEs past! The Mosiers headed out when the girls were sleepy. Adam and I decided to celebrate New York New Year's Eve... We had a champagne toast, listened to James Taylor's "Auld Lang Syne," and texted a few friends at 11pm, before promptly dozing off. Interestingly, very few people replied to my text that evening! Many of them responded the next day, however, saying that they were already asleep by 11. Ah, we're getting older! But I think I'm OK with that. :)
