Take your daughter to work day fail.

Yes, this is where mommy works, but you are here because mommy let you roll off the changing table : (

You checked out okay, and got lots of sympathy when we got home.

Mommy changes you on the floor now (lol).

Lucky for mommy, everyone assumes daddy did it.

So Big!

How big are you?

Annalise showed off her new trick at the Labounty/Walker Christmas get together.  (Doris really liked this)   Check out the video below for a front row seat.

We met some new friends,

And hung out with some old ones.

Gobble Gobble!

Well, it's turkey time (almost).  So we threw a party/house warming to celebrate with many of the people we are so thankful for!

Did I say people?  I meant people and "Gog".

I think about 35 people joined us.  We smoked some turkey and ham and everyone brought a side dish.  It was de-lish!

We also  hit the 8 month mark.  How many of these stickers do we have?

Attack of the "Gog"!

Halloween Spooktacular!

Once upon a time, there was a mom with a beautiful daughter,

But this small girl was different... she belonged in the water.

Lounging in the ocean, she was very cute, the other mermaids would remark,

But there was something lurking in the deep... a mermaid eating shark!

This was a tiny mermaid, hardly big enough for a meal at her size.

The shark wouldn't taste this mermaid until she was bigger (it did surmise).
.

But this mermaid was smart, she could see what was in store for her at the end,

So she was nice to the scheming shark, making it her friend.

Days became weeks, and soon the shark dropped its guard.

The mermaid escaped!  Her blow left the shark scarred.
The End.

But did we have fun this Halloween???

(See below.)

OH YEAHHHHHHHH!

How do you like them apples?

Took a short drive to the Lousburg Cider Mill with the Mosiers!  Bad news...  It was Cider Fest, which meant it was a zoo.
We commandeered a corner and enjoyed some apple donuts and hot cider (except for Todd who had a cider slush).
Annalise thought the dirt was much more interesting than looking at the camera.
Adam is starting to like that harness!

On our way back, we saw a sign for the Overland Park Arboretum, so we took a chance and checked it out.
Made for some great pics.  Little AL fit right in!

First Tailgate

We went to our first family KU football game with a several of our old friends and several new ones, too!

A whole family of Jayhawks...

Yes, that is the infamous carrier from the pep rally.  It came in handy as we traded in our 3 tickets for bleacher seats among a high school size crowd.  The band was rockin' as our Jayhawks hung in despite clearly being outmatched.  Annalise was getting fussy, so we tried a bottle...  Well, we almost made it throught the first quarter.  : (

Oh, well.  Daddy and daughter like tailgating better anyway!

Fore!

Jackie loves to golf... pub style!  Our friend Ben had his ThirTEE(ith) birthday party, so like the days of old, we dressed up like winners and headed down the trail of pub golf on a kickin' party bus!

Well, Nana Bannana needs to send us our picture of just Jackie and Adam, but here's the ladies.  (In the background, you will see the Skeeball game that Adam dominated Jackie on.)

Not sure if it's thirTEE related, but we actually only went to 2 bars!  When all your friends are together, who needs to drive around endlessly anyway?

Is that a futon?  No... it's a premium futon!  For sale on craiglist and available for pick-up in my garage.  (Had a short post.  Will remove when I get more pics and $100 for it.)

Rock Chalk!

Go KU!

So every year they have a rally for KU football.  All our friends decided to go, so we met up at the Goodvins' new place close by.  With Jackie having not started work, we decided to meet there after Adam's work to maximize party time.  This was sure to be a packed event, and, with all the car seats, there was no way to carpool, and parking was sure to be impossible.  With just a few blocks between us and the kickoff to a great season, we set out with our new Baby Bjorn knockoff.

Just a few blocks in, we noticed the Mosiers had fallen behind.  As we paused, Adam recognized they had made a clever switch to a stroller... well played.  Soon it became clear that this was no "few blocks," and Adam began to realize that this Target baby sling was no cross country rig!  Jackie insightfully responded, "Maybe we should have gotten the stroller out of my car?"

Well, the good news was the exercise of the 3 mile jaunt calmed Adam's grumpiness, and, with only a slight sweat mustache, we rolled in to the event.  We even took a shortcut through all the empty spaces in the parking lot!

Jackie fact check:  odometer says it was 1.3 miles.
